Love Is What This Struggle's About! was a temporary public art installation commissioned by CSUDH PRAXIS. The banner featured portraits of PRAXIS students and themes they explored with local arts educators. The design was inspired by posters from the Central Avenue Jazz era, which the students learned about in their workshops on South LA history and culture. Their curriculum included mutual aid, indigenous South LA, and environmental justice. The public artwork was presented as part of the City of Carson's Friends, Faith and Family Celebration at Stevenson Park on May 14, 2022.
