Rhizome Studies is a series of painted production stills and concept artworks for an imagined genre-spanning animated film chronicling the saga of a Chinese Jamaican family’s multigenerational migrations across locations including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Jamaica, the Bronx, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
Created for the 2026 City of LA Independent Master Artists Projects (COLA IMAP) fellowship
